In 1984 Randy Powers started Westside Marine, renting a small garage in Port of Port Townsend's Boat Haven. The business soon outgrew the space and moved to the current location on Hwy. 20. For almost 40 years, boating enthusiasts of Western Washington have turned to Westside as a resource for boats, supporting gear, service and advice. Stocking top name brands, keeping prices competitive, and getting the job done year after year, has been the key to Westside's success and customer following.

In February, 2023, Randy decided it was time to do more fishing, so he sold the business to SEA Marine, a full service boatyard that has operated in Point Hudson since 2006. You’ll find the same hard working, dedicated employees you know at Westside Marine and SEA Marine pledges to continue to provide the same great service to customers.
